Job summary

Phoenix Futures Group is recruiting a Substance Use Practitioner for HMP Wayland, delivering psychosocial interventions and a full range of group work to clients in custody. You will train across service delivery, collaborate with community partners and other agencies, and benefit from on-site parking and gym access.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care or related field.
• Evidence of effective partnership building and networking.
• Able to manage a busy caseload and stay organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiar with databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand complex issues faced by people entering custody.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychosocial interventions 1-1 and in groups tailored to client needs.
• Train in all aspects of service delivery and participate in recovery programmes.
• Work with community drug and alcohol agencies and prison services.
• Visit other agencies, both prison and community based, as required.
