Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery. You will champion nutritional healing, help patients rebuild their relationship with food, and support medical and psychological recovery in a safety-focused environment.

Under supervision of a licensed RD, you will advance clinical excellence, assist families, and participate in diet therapy across residential, outpatient, and virtual programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ACEND-approved DP program.
• Completion of Dietetic Internship.
• CDR license and state license where applicable.
• One year of experience in dietary services preferred.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire; CPR, AED and First Aid with 30 days; ServSafe certification within 30 days.
• Current valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nutrition care by assessing weight, vitals, labs, and dietary needs.
• Develop treatment plans to support medical stability and long-term recovery.
• Lead dietary groups and therapeutic meal support within a compassionate milieu.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists to address medical and psychiatric needs.
• Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation meeting regulatory standards.
• Support program growth through outreach, tours, and training participation.
