Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to champion nutritional healing as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. You will empower patients to rebuild their relationship with food and support medical and psychological recovery within a compassionate, evidence-based setting.

You will work under supervision to advance clinical excellence, contribute to treatment planning, and engage families across all stages of care in a level-of-care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in ACEND DPD required.
• Completion of Dietetic Internship required.
• CDR license and state license where applicable.
• One year of experience in dietary services preferred.
• CPI certification within 90 days; CPR/AED/First Aid and ServSafe within 30 days.
• Maintain current Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nutrition care and develop treatment plans for medical stability and recovery.
• Identify weekly treatment goals with the interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate dietetic groups to support insight, skills and behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions to reinforce recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians/psychiatrists on nutritional interventions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in ACEND DPD
