Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. in Milwaukee seeks a Certified Peer Specialist to support adults enrolled in CCS.

You will share your recovery experience to mentor clients, promote wellness, and help build meaningful relationships that sustain personal growth. This full-time role requires trauma-informed, person-centered care, collaboration with the CCS team, and ensuring access to transportation and timely documentation in accordance with state and funding guidelines.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience serving people with mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring needs.
• Wisconsin approved Peer Specialist Training and current State Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide peer support to CCS participants and mentor recovery goals.
• Role model wellness and self-direction using lived experience.
• Develop person-centered, trauma-informed relationships to empower recovery.
• Support transportation access for CCS appointments and document accordingly.
• Participate in Recovery Team meetings and maintain case files per policy.
