Our Space, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialists to join the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program.

As a CPS, you will use your lived recovery experience to provide recovery‑oriented, person‑centered support, help participants set goals, and connect them with community resources. You will work within CCS guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with CCS care coordinators to promote independence and wellness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State of Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification.
• Personal lived experience with mental health challenges and recovery.
• Completion of approved CPS training and required certification examination.
• Ability to meet Wisconsin DHS 36 training requirements and related prerequisites.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain auto insurance.
• Ability to work within CCS guidelines and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized peer support services aligned with each participant’s CCS plan.
• Share personal lived experience to promote hope, resilience, and self‑determination.
• Establish professional relationships grounded in empathy, trust, and respect.
• Support participants in recognizing strengths and directing their recovery.
• Document recovery-focused interventions and outcomes per CCS requirements.
• Communicate concerns and recommendations to CCS care coordinators.
