Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for Desert Cove Recovery Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports individuals with SMI or mental health needs under Court Ordered Treatment, with a comprehensive benefits package and a $1.50/hr SMI differential.

You will conduct assessments, facilitate group and individual activities, and help families engage in recovery. Requires HS diploma or better, and Arizona driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED and 6 weeks of behavioral health employment experience; or an associates degree.
• A bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field with experience.
• Arizona Peer Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual activities supporting members and families in recovery.
• Conduct assessments, service planning, and service delivery focused on recovery and resiliency.
• Create and conduct group activities for families and clients.
• Promote community integration, independence, and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of member engagements.
