Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to promote consumer engagement in therapy, wellness services, and recovery support.

The role involves working with Opioid Treatment Programming staff to ensure continuity of care and to document services provided. The successful candidate will have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders, a Diploma or higher, and an active NC Peer Support Certificate.

Formación

• Diploma or higher with knowledge of wellness and recovery-based concepts.
• Lived experiences with mental health and/or substance use disorders and at least 18 months of recovery.
• Active NC Peer Support Certificate is required.

Responsabilidades

• Promote consumer engagement in therapy with clinicians.
• Engage with wellness services and recovery support and primary care.
• Conduct rapid screening for communicable disease and document services provided.
