Job summary

Rimrock Trails Treatment Services in Crook County, Oregon is seeking an ARC Peer Support Specialist to coordinate and follow up clinically indicated services for individuals and families who begin treatment at the Crook County ARC. You will collaborate with the ARC Lead and Care Coordinator to educate clients about options, coordinate services, and perform warm handoffs.

Qualifications

Associates degree or higher required.
Must complete peer support certification within 60 days.
Knowledge of local behavioral health and social services systems.
Ability to advocate, coach, and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

Welcome youth and families; complete initial screenings and coordinate additional assessments.
Provide brief interventions for youth who misuse substances, including family involvement.
Coordinate care and follow-up for at least 120 days with referrals to support services.
Support clients through peer and family services to ensure continuity of care.
Engage in community education and outreach to reduce stigma and connect clients with resources.
Promote recovery, empowerment, and client-directed planning.
