Riverside Community Care is seeking a Peer Specialist to join Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS). You will collaborate with integrated teams to provide peer and family support, guiding individuals through recovery and helping them access community resources for sustained self-management.

You will educate Persons served and team members, advocate for needed services, and deliver direct services using your own recovery experience as a positive model.

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience is a core asset and positive model for others.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills are important for engaging individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspire hope and guide Persons served through individual and group conversations.
• Provide recovery education to Persons engaged in services and to Team members.
• Advocate for services and help connect individuals with recovery resources and communities.
• Deliver direct peer support to facilitate engagement, functioning, and self-management.
