Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Peer Specialist to join Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS). You will collaborate with integrated teams to provide peer and family support, guiding individuals through recovery and helping them access community resources for sustained self-management.

You will educate Persons served and team members, advocate for needed services, and deliver direct services using your own recovery experience as a positive model.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and advocacy skills are important for engaging individuals and teams.

Peer Specialist - Adult Community Clinical Services

ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.

As a member of the ACCS team, the Peer Specialist will work as a member of Persons Served Primary Teams to inspire hope that recovery is possible through individual and group conversations, guiding Persons through their own recovery process, and assisting Persons servedwith learning about and accessing recovery resources and communities.

The Peer Specialist will provide education to Persons engaged in services and Team members, advocacy, and direct service, using their own recovery experience as a positive model.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate:$22.49/hour uncertified OR $23.56/hour with CPS certification.
