Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Mental Health Associate I to deliver community-based and clinic-based psychiatric rehabilitation for adults with serious mental illness and related conditions. Under supervision, you will promote recovery, independence, and community integration through trauma-informed, person-centered care.

You will conduct skill-building groups and individual sessions, support daily living activities, and help clients access resources while maintaining Medicaid-compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in community and program settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and teach clients in therapeutic skill-building groups and individual sessions focusing on ADLs, symptom self-management, and social skills.
• Provide psychiatric rehabilitation interventions to enhance functional abilities and community participation.
• Assist with medication organization and adherence support as allowed by policy.
• Assist participants in accessing employment, education, transportation, healthcare, and other resources.
• Complete timely Medicaid-compliant documentation and maintain person-centered records.
