Job summary
Telecare Corporation in San Diego is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide recovery-focused care, including safe administration of medications, under physician orders. The role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a wage range of $28.43 to $35.13 per hour.
Starting pay reflects geographic differentials. The position requires licensure, CPR/BLS, CPI and additional clearances.
Qualifications
- LVN/LPT program graduation and active licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification required at or before employment.
- Post-offer physical, background checks, and driving/vehicle prerequisites may apply.
- If driving, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance; auto clearance may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide recovery-focused nursing care, including medication administration as prescribed.
- Implement care per policies, procedures and standards of care.
- Deliver safe, effective direct care to clients in a behavioral health setting.
- Coordinate with the team and document care accurately and timely.
