Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide recovery-focused nursing care, administer medications as prescribed, and support safe, effective direct client care.

Shifts available include Full-Time AM, PM and NOC schedules. Starting wage ranges from $29.93 to $36.98 per hour, with geographic differentials. Candidates must be licensed, CPR/BLS certified, 18+, and willing to use a company vehicle when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LVN/LPT program and current licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on) by start of employment and maintained throughout.
• All conditions: post-offer exam, 2-step TB test, background checks, sanctions checks, and license verification; if driving, valid license and auto insurance.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance; listed as driver.
• Willingness to use company vehicle to drive clients to appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-focused nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
