Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge seeks a Client Care Specialist to provide direct, compassionate support for clients in the Life Renewal/IOL program, guiding recovery goals and maintaining a caring floor environment. You will observe client needs, de‑escalate situations, assist with intake and discharges, supervise medications, and relay timely updates to the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or education related to health or human services preferred.
• Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges.
• Willing to support client spiritual growth and prayer when requested.

Responsibilities

• Observe client needs and de-escalate when required.
• Assist with intake, discharges, and daily care activities.
• Supervise medication administration and ensure safety.
• Provide timely updates to the care team and maintain floor environment.
• Support clients’ recovery goals within MnTC’s Culture of Honor.
