Job summary

Olymipia Grove Recovery seeks a Patient Engagement Specialist to support individuals in early recovery. The PES is the main contact, leads non-clinical group activities, monitors movement, resolves conflicts, and assists daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience with behavioral health or substance use populations preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary daily contact and accountability point for patients in treatment.
• Monitor patient movement and enforce program rules and safety standards.
• Lead non-therapy enrichment activities including light fitness, guided meditation, and peer-led discussions.
• Facilitate or supervise trips to off-campus 12-step meetings and community events.
• Support communal areas and meal rooms; promote a respectful environment.
• Mediates and de-escalates patient conflicts with calm, professional communication.
• Assist with minor cleaning duties and maintain facility order.
• Transport patients to meetings or events as needed.
• Document observations and communicate with clinical staff as needed.
• Model professionalism and emotional composure; participate in team meetings.
