Job summary

Global Cellulose Fibers in Port Wentworth, GA seeks a Recaust/CTO/Demin/Evaps Operator to run recovery and utilities equipment, monitor processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality. The role is shift-based with overtime and requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to pass drug screens and a background check.

Candidates should be prepared to earn mill certifications (Woodyard, Recaust, Demin, Evaps, CTO, Recovery/Power Boiler) over time and to work safely in a team-driven,

Qualifications

• Previous mill experience required.
• Must obtain mill certifications (Woodyard, Recaust, Demin, Evaps, CTO, Recovery/Power Boiler) within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass drug screens and a background check.
• Proficient in MS Office (email, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work safely in a team-based, high-performance environment.
• Willingness to learn through self-study.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill production equipment in the recovery & utilities area.
• Monitor processes to support high-quality product output.
• Follow detailed procedures and troubleshoot problems.
• Attend PIT and morning crew meetings; participate in other scheduled meetings.
• May perform physical, technical, and mechanical tasks (climbing, lifting, etc.).
