The Farley Center in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Counselor I- Recovery to provide direct counseling and recovery support. You will conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, and deliver group or individual sessions using evidence-based approaches.

The role requires licensure and CPR/de-escalation training, with first aid possible. You will document care, coordinate with insurance carriers, and assist with aftercare planning and community outreach.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in social services, addiction, mental health or closely related field.
• Must have current and valid licensure or certification as a social worker, professional counselor, therapist or addiction counselor.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required; first aid may be required.

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation, and risk.
• Conduct ongoing assessments for required treatment services and plan progress reviews.
• Conduct group, individual or family sessions using evidence-supported modalities.

• Ensure timely and clear documentation of care, treatment and incidents.
