Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks a fully licensed Lead Counselor (LCSW/LPC/LATP) to provide treatment, counseling, and support for clients recovering from addictions and mental health disorders. This on-site, full-time role leads group, individual, and family sessions and guides the clinical service provision.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in social services or related field and 2+ years post-master’s experience; licensure is required. Competitive salary and benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services, addictions, mental health or closely related field.
• 2+ years post-master’s degree professional experience.
• Licensure as social worker, professional counselor, therapist or addiction counselor.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned group counseling, individual or family sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation and treatment needs.
• Prepare and review treatment plans and progress, document thoroughly and timely.
