Qualifications

• Current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).
• Independent clinical judgment and use of varied evidenced based treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual, family and group counseling.
• Develops service plans to address specialized problems related to addictive disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Participates in treatment team decisions and formulates therapeutic activities.
• Manages a caseload including scheduling, evaluating progress and treatment recommendations.
• Conducts crisis and non-crisis interviews for Access to Care and determines eligibility.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and treatment plans in official reports and EHRs.
• Reviews charts for engagement and closure of cases.
