Job summary

Renew Health + Recovery seeks a community outreach professional to promote recovery resources and wellness initiatives in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves building relationships with community organizations and attending events to raise awareness about available resources and services.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with interpersonal skills, comfortable with field-based outreach, and able to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year (2 years preferred) of personal recovery from SUD or experience with addiction in family.
• Must reside actively in Florida in the Jacksonville region.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong motivation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a community ambassador to raise awareness of recovery resources and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Engage with local groups to promote recovery resources and wellness initiatives.
• Attend events, health fairs, and coalition meetings on behalf of Renew Health + Recovery.
• Provide education and presentations on substance use disorders, recovery, and resources.
