Queen of Peace Center is seeking a Recovery Coach to support the EPICC project. The role focuses on peer-based recovery support, connecting individuals to treatment, and addressing barriers to care in the Greater St. Louis region.

The position requires personal recovery experience, a Missouri Peer Specialist Certification (within 30 days), and a valid driver’s license. The wage starts at $19/hour with potential increases based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Missouri Peer Specialist Certification at hire or within 30 days.
• Minimum two years in personal recovery from substance use disorder.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach to individuals with opioid use disorder and provide peer support and care navigation.
• Facilitate referrals to treatment, recovery services, and community resources, addressing barriers to engagement.
• Maintain client communication and ensure successful linkage to services and continuity of care.
• Complete follow-ups at 2 weeks, 30 days, 3 months, and 6 months to support engagement.
• Accurately document outreach, referrals, and outcomes in the FamCare database within one business day.
