Job summary

Voices of Hope is seeking a Recovery Coach to support individuals on their recovery journey in Pulaski County, KY. The role focuses on peer-based guidance, goal setting, coping strategies, and building recovery capital within a compassionate team.

The position emphasizes empathy, confidentiality, and collaboration with the program. A HS diploma and lived recovery experience are preferred, with potential certifications beneficial for advancement.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with substance use recovery preferred.
• Peer support certification advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass I-9 and background check.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support and help participants develop recovery plans.
• Connect participants with community resources and services.
• Advocate for participants within healthcare and social services.
• Educate on recovery concepts and coping strategies.
• Document progress and maintain confidential records.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team members.
• Participate in meetings and training.
