Monte Nido Portland, located in West Linn, OR is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, implementing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and engagement in treatment. Our goal is to help each client understand their eating and/or exercise disorder and its impact on their life, as well as what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support clients throughout their recovery journey, acting as a key team member.
  • Provide support and intervention aligned with the client’s treatment plan.
  • Encourage clients to develop healthy connections with others in the milieu and team.
  • Assist in food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
  • Participate in therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
  • Conduct rounds and provide observations.
  • Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of post-high school education; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
  • Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
  • Strong communication and client relations skills; service-oriented; flexible; team player.
