Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an Adult Community Clinical Services Recovery Coach to join a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitation, support, and crisis intervention for clients with substance use disorders, under clinical supervision of licensed staff. You will mentor clients, help educate families, promote recovery, and encourage client self‑determination in treatment planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Addictions Recovery Coach (CARC) or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Candidate identifies as being in recovery and is willing to share recovery experience.
• Enthusiastic about supporting clients in early recovery and open to multiple pathways of recovery.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license, access to personal vehicle, and good driving record required.
• Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise from a mental health/substance use perspective to the team on clients’ experiences.
• Collaborates to promote client self-determination in treatment planning.
• Helps clients identify and address stigma related to mental illness and recovery.
• Assists team in recognizing and eliminating stigma within the group.
• Increases client engagement in self-help programs and advocacy organizations.
• Serves as liaison between the team and consumer-run programs.
• Organizes and leads individual and group social/recreational activities for clients.
