Monte Nido Houston, located in Conroe, TX, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, implementing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and engagement in treatment. Our goal is to help each client understand their disorder and its effects, and to develop a personalized plan for recovery.

We are seeking a per diem Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in mental health and eating disorder treatment.

Availability required for all shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and overnight 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities Include

1. Support clients throughout their recovery journey.
2. Provide assistance and intervention as per the client’s treatment plan.
3. Help clients develop healthy connections within the milieu and team.
4. Assist in food preparation and supervision of client meals and snacks.
5. Participate in therapeutic groups and develop skills to promote growth.
6. Conduct rounds and observe clients.
7. Occasionally drive clients to off-site appointments and activities.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of post-high school education; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.
2. Minimum of one year experience in a mental or behavioral health setting (required in some states).
3. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
4. Strong communication and client relations skills, service orientation, flexibility, and team-oriented attitude.
