We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach II to provide one-on-one client engagement, connecting individuals to the resources, skills, and support they need to build a meaningful life in recovery.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits
  • Multiple Medical Plans to fit your needs and budget
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan with 10% employer match at 1 year
  • Vacation and Sick accruals
  • 11 paid Holidays

  • Paid Licensure Reimbursement
  • Meaningful work making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals in recovery
What You’ll Do:

As a Recovery Coach II, you will walk alongside clients in their recovery journey — providing referral, linkage, and coordination of wrap-around services tailored to individual needs. Working as part of SCADD's multidisciplinary team, you will help clients integrate relapse prevention skills and independent living skills while engaged in treatment, always keeping their hopes, goals, and preferences at the center of every interaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist clients with filing complaints and follow up with proposed resolutions as needed, including finding appropriate resources
  • Support clients in avoiding behaviors that might lead to a psychiatric crisis
  • Assist with avoidance of risky behaviors, substance use, and unnecessary conflict, while helping facilitate effective decision-making and problem-solving
  • Assist clients with securing transportation and provide direct transportation when needed
  • Provide additional non-clinical hours of weekly programming as needed
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge necessary for the performance of duties
What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; people with lived experience in recovery are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Peer Certification obtained through a state-approved certification board required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and unrestricted privileges required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, external providers, clients, families, and community partners
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients in a person-centered, empathetic, and nonjudgmental manner
  • Ability to identify resources and minimize obstacles to long-term recovery
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to changing needs in a timely manner
  • Commitment to SCADD's values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice
Why SCADD?
