Job summary

Amatus Recovery Centers is seeking a clinician to provide direct care and support for clients facing mental health and substance use challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote healing and long-term recovery.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure (or active progress toward licensure). The role emphasizes compassionate care, documentation, and staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Licensure required - LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (or working toward full licensure).
• Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping others through evidence-based treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual & group therapy - deliver high-quality counseling tailored to client needs.
• Develop & implement treatment plans - create personalized recovery plans that drive meaningful change.
• Maintain clinical documentation - ensure accurate records to support treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team - work alongside clinicians, medical staff, and leadership.
• Support crisis intervention - help clients navigate challenges with compassionate care.
• Stay current with best practices - continuously improve skills through training and supervision.
