Job summary

McAlister Institute is seeking a Program Manager to lead the East County Regional Recovery Center in San Diego. You will oversee operations, ensure contract compliance, and supervise clinical and support staff in a trauma-informed setting.

The role requires leadership experience in behavioral health, knowledge of DHCS standards, and a commitment to client-centered care. Travel between sites is expected; a valid license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• CADC or licensed therapist in DHCS compliance.
• Minimum two years in alcohol/drug treatment or co-occurring settings.
• Demonstrated leadership in program management and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of DHCS regulations, Title 22, 42 CFR, and EBPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership aligned with mission and goals.
• Oversee program operations and ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor budgets, fiscal performance, and audits.
• Lead site visits, QA reviews, and corrective actions.
• Supervise staff and ensure certifications and training.
