Job summary

You will work under supervision, maintain thorough documentation, collaborate with medical staff, and participate in preventive interventions and case management to support successful recovery and community integration.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor as defined by state agencies.
• Must be a Qualified Professional per state service definitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions focusing on recovery goals and progress.
• Facilitate group counseling to develop skills, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Develop personalized, person-centered treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Conduct utilization reviews to assess continued services and prepare authorizations.
• Deliver evidence-based preventive and therapeutic interventions and coordinate with support networks.
• Document all interventions and progress in client records within required timelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility and perform additional duties as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare staff for integrated care.
