Position Overview

Providence is seeking a Recovery Audit Contract Representative for a full-time day shift. Under the direction of ministry HIM management, the HIM Audit Recovery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing audit information, including additional document requests, appeals, validation, and data reporting. The role involves researching, compiling, and submitting data to external agencies and maintaining the Audit Tracking System. The coordinator acts as a liaison between the ministry, business office, care management, legal, providers, third-party payers, and other departments.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of HIM/Medical Record Department related experience.
• Experience with OIG, CMS, Medicare Fiscal Intermediary audits, and other payer audits.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management.
• 1 year of Recovery Audit information coordination experience.

Salary Range by Location

Details vary by state and city, with ranges from approximately $16.23 to $37.84 per hour depending on location.
