Rural King is hiring a Recovery Associate to maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and deliver strong customer service. The role emphasizes merchandise recovery, replenishment, and adherence to merchandising standards at our Florida stores.

You will inventory and organize product placements, greet customers, answer questions, and operate store equipment like handheld devices and pallet jacks. Training and teamwork are key to success in this fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Return merchandise to the floor and replenish shelves daily.
• Organize and display items per Indoor Merchandising Guide and standards.
• Keep the sales floor and customer areas clean, organized and safe.
• Greet customers and help with product questions and locations.
• Know where featured products are and their locations.
• Safely operate handheld devices and store equipment (pallet jacks, ladders, forklifts).
• Support other departments through cross-training as needed.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Complete daily department recovery by returning merchandise to the sales floor and replenishing shelves.


• Organize and display merchandise according to the Indoor Merchandising Guide and department standards.


• Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales floors and customer areas.


• Greet customers and assist with product questions, locations, and purchase decisions.


• Maintain knowledge of featured products and their locations.


• Safely operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other retail equipment.


• Participate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.


• Demonstrate Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.


• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30 pounds repetitively and 31–50 pounds intermittently.


• Ability to safely use a ladder and pallet jack.


• Ability to navigate and access all required store facilities.


• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.


• Close vision required for computer-related activities.
