Job summary

Sysco Atlanta, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to identify, stage, and repackage damaged and returned products in line with quality standards. You will move goods using pallet jacks and forklifts, stage recouped items for inventory, and ensure safety and accuracy throughout the shift.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and adherence to food safety protocols. Overtime and weekend hours may apply as part of the team operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 months warehouse experience.
• 3 months’ experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Previous Sysco or foodservice experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify damaged products within the warehouse (Dry, Cooler, Freezer) in the designated area.
• Separate damaged product, repack or repair as needed, and decide disposition.
• Unload, separate, and stage returns from routes for processing.
• Stage recouped product for inventory restoration.
• Follow Food Safety and Quality Control standards.
• Lift 1–75 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds; operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to move product.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.
