Recoup Specialist - Warehouse Returns & Repacking

Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to identify, stage, and repackage damaged and returned products in line with quality control standards. You will transport items to the recoup area and restore stock locations.

Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or forklift, lift up to 75 pounds, and work overtime as needed is expected. Prior warehouse experience and safety-minded attitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work rapidly at a steady pace in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality control standards.
• Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify damaged products within the warehouse (Dry, Cooler, and Freezer) within the selection slot or designated recoup area.
• Separate damaged product, clean-up, repackage or repair if warranted, and identify for return to the pick slot or disposition as damaged.
• Unload, separate, and stage product returns from routes for processing.
• Stage recouped product for Warehouse Personnel to return to inventory.
• Follow all Food Safety and Quality Control standards.
• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport the product.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.
