Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a warehouse associate for a finance-position-like role focused on salvaging, recouping, and repacking products. The role collaborates with warehouse management to monitor shrink and supports merchandising for proper vendor packaging.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school education, 18+ years of age, and basic math/computer skills, with 1–3 months of related warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old and pass employment testing.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills.
• Able to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping.
• Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink.
• Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors.
• Assist with developing a reconciliation program.
• Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink.
• Keep the area clean and neat at all times.
