Job summary

Miami Technical Services seeks a Material Handler in Dayton, OH to support the National Archives and Records Administration in a full-time warehouse setting. Shift is 6:30am–3:00pm, with pay at $19.05/hour plus $5.09/hour Health & Welfare funds for benefits.

Responsibilities include locating and moving containers, auditing pull lists, preparing records for scanning, and performing basic data entry. Must lift 30–50 lbs regularly, climb ladders to 15 feet, pass drug screening and background

Required Qualifications: Able to perform in a labor-intensive environment.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
May require drug screening; background check and government security clearance are required.
U.S. citizenship is a contract requirement.

Responsibilities

Locate containers or folders on shelving using pull lists or reports, up to 15' high.
Move records to designated areas and verify pull lists; document discrepancies.
Stack, label, and prepare containers for disposal or relocation as needed.
Retrieve and sign out batches, record start times and completion in logbooks.
Scan documents by preparing them for scanning and verifying image clarity.
Enter basic data in spreadsheets and assist with box list creation.
