Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent with an additional one to three years of experience operating an online computer keyboard terminal; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following:

Responsibilities

• Type alphabetic or numeric data on a keyboard at a computer terminal using a coding system.
• Compare data on screen with source documents to detect errors.
• Check for errors and verify questionable data with the originating department.
• Retrieve data from computer files when requested.
• File hard copy documents.
• Answer the telephone.
