Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families in Tampa is seeking a Records Technician (OPS) to manage abuse report intake, review files, and assign investigations. You will coordinate with FAHIS, CIS and FSFN systems and prepare intake case records for CPS investigations.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Two years of clerical experience preferred.
• Must be able to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and assign abuse reports from the Florida Abuse Hotline and coordinate with FAHIS, CIS and FSFN.
• Review databases for previous or open investigations and involvement with family safety programs.
• Provide clerical support for a multi-function Family Safety Unit.
