Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Record Keeper to join our team in Austin or Dallas, TX. The role involves interpreting guidelines, applying technical principles, and solving non-routine problems under supervision.

You will monitor schedules and project budgets, perform basic design calculations, and assist engineers and scientists by preparing reports and cost estimates. TXDOT experience is preferred and familiarity with SiteManager and APCM is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 10 years related experience or an Associate’s Degree with 8 years related experience.
• TXDOT experience preferred.
• SiteManager and APCM experience preferred.

Job Description Overview

We are seeking a Record Keeper to join our team in Austin or Dallas, TX. Your role Selects, interprets, adapts and applies guidelines, precedents and technical principles related to field of specialty, to non-routine and complex problems. May select and recommend approaches to resolve technical problems. Monitors and updates schedules and project budgets. Performs basic design calculations and scaling for supervisor's approval and/or make required computations to reduce survey notes utilizing plane geometry/trigonometry. Interprets environmental assessment findings, evaluates these against EPA standards and/or other established criteria, and writes reports for review by engineer or scientists. May explore and evaluate possible approaches to improve results. Performs a wide variety of complex CAD assignments, applying principles of discipline(s) supported. May develop conceptual design alternatives as required by supervisor or alter finaldrawings as requested. Assists technical professionals in preparing specifications, writing technical reports, calculating estimated project costs and man-hours, coordinating presentations to clients and performing other professional-level tasks.

Experience working with TXDOT. About you High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus eight years related experience is required TXDOT experience preferred. Experience with SiteManager and/or APCM is preferred.
