AtkinsRéalis in Texas seeks a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to lead engineering design teams on highway projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communications with TxDOT and local agencies, mentoring staff and ensuring successful project delivery.
Requirements include a BS/MS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years in highway design and PM, knowledge of PS&E, and a TX P.E. license or eligibility; PMP a plus.
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Central Region Roads & Highways team in Texas as a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager on various Highway and Roadway projects. In this role, you will apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage roadway design teams on a variety of transportation projects. Also performs the basic project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, marketing assistance, and financial management. Functions as a mentor to assist others in their training and development. Responsible for project delivery for programs and projects across multiple Business Units and local clients including HCTRA, TxDOT, City of Sugarland, and City of Houston to name a few. This position has tremendous growth and career development potential.
As a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager: Execution of procured transportation projects by leading engineering design, coordination with design staff on project components, client interactions, and project management tasks. Schedules and coordinates project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved with the projects. Manages project production by tracking charging of manhours, costs and expenses to projects, and communicates project progress/status to senior management. Identifies new roadway and highway business opportunities, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes firm's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective client. Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of firm's qualification/experience statements. Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management. Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments. Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget and quality objectives.

Expected compensation range is between $160,000 - $180,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
