Job summary

Premier Restoration Hawaiʻi is hiring a Reconstruction Technician to restore homes and businesses after fire, water, mold, and storm damage. The role covers carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and basic plumbing/electrical repairs, with emphasis on quality workmanship and customer service.

You will read work orders, document progress on company-provided mobile tools, travel between sites, and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of construction, carpentry or reconstruction experience preferred.
• Restoration industry experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic hand tools required.
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets for daily job documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconstruction work on residential and commercial restoration projects.
• Complete carpentry including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and finish work.
• Install drywall, tape, texture, paint, and flooring.
• Perform basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs as needed.
• Read work orders and complete projects according to company quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Utilize company mobile technology to document work and project updates.
• Travel between multiple job sites as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Support teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Reconstruction Technician is responsible for restoring residential and commercial properties following fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This position performs a variety of skilled carpentry and finish work to return properties to pre-loss condition while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

This Position Will Contribute in the Following Ways

• Perform reconstruction work on residential and commercial restoration projects.

Physical Requirements
