Job summary

Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking Mitigation Technicians to help families recover after disasters across Hawaii. You’ll respond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies and guide customers through the first steps of recovery.

No prior restoration experience is required; we provide training and value a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Opportunities exist to advance into lead technician and management roles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in physically active environments and move equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in construction, maintenance, restoration, or related hands-on trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, mold, fire, and storm damage emergencies.
• Drive company vehicles to customer job sites.
• Assess property damage and assist mitigation planning.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and restoration tools.
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Pack, inventory, and store customer belongings as needed.
• Document job progress using mobile devices.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
• Work safely while upholding high quality standards.

What You'll Do

Every day is different. You may be helping a family recover from a flood one day and responding to a fire-damaged property the next.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to water, mold, fire, and storm damage emergencies
• Driving company vehicles to customer job sites
• Assessing property damage and assisting with mitigation plans
• Setting up and monitoring drying equipment and other restoration tools
• Performing demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Packing, inventorying, and storing customer belongings when necessary
• Documenting job progress using mobile technology and software
• Communicating professionally with customers and teammates
• Working safely while maintaining a high standard of quality

What We're Looking For

You don\'t need restoration experience to apply. We can teach the technical skills. We\'re looking for people with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
• Experience in construction, maintenance, restoration, moving, landscaping, military service, warehouse operations, or other hands-on trades is a plus but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Must be available for on-call rotation
• Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during emergency response situations
