As a restoration estimator, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of structural repairs damaged by water, smoke, fire, debris, or other methods of damage. You will exemplify our code of values by showing respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is ideal if you are self-motivated, thrive in fast-moving environments, and can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. You should have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers, and be able to manage a variety of situations daily.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute timely, accurate, and profitable estimates
• Prepare accurate and profitable job estimates using Xactimate/MICA/Fire N Ice/Symbility software
• Develop a list of materials and equipment needed for projects
• Maintain reports and provide relevant information, including issues or challenges, to the District Manager
• Process reconstruction estimates according to standards and Rainbow processes
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Coordinate with adjusters directly and through XactAnalysis
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements & Skills

• Empathy, friendliness, and a positive can-do attitude
• Xactimate experience is essential
• MICA/Symbility/Alacrity/T&M experience is a plus
• Experience with large loss, top-to-bottom
• Experience writing and auditing estimates for water, fire, mold, and repair projects
• Knowledge of the restoration industry
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background checks
• Proficiency with business software, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Detail-oriented and able to sit for long periods
