Job summary

SERVPRO of Duncanville/DeSoto is seeking a Construction Project Estimator to deliver accurate restoration estimates and manage documentation from inspection to project close. You will meet with customers, photograph damages, and develop comprehensive restoration proposals using ITEL/engineering inputs.

This role emphasizes client communication, adherence to plans and codes, and coordination with adjusters for approvals.

Qualifications

• Two years of Xactimate experience, including sketch.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

As a Construction Project Estimator with Servpro of Duncanville/DeSoto, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to inspect and photograph all damages .
• Gain Confidence with customers .
• Develop/write an estimate to include all construction services required to restore the structure and ensure customer and client satisfaction. (ie ITEL, material reports, engineering reports)
• Document all communications and all follow up communications with customers and clients twice weekly at minimum.
• Communicate with adjusters and clients when needed for project approvals/ authorizations.
• Ensure estimate complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
• Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos.
• Assist Project Construction Manager when needed for scope or explanation of scope.
• Follow the claim from inspection to close for documentation and all communications.
• Salary plus earned commissions

• Previous construction experience Preferred

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders for inspections and photos
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
