Associate Sales Representative – Reconstruction (Bradenton/Sarasota, FL)

What will you be doing?

As a member of the Reconstruction Sales Team, the ASR will work within an assigned territory and hospital accounts. Responsibilities include assisting in scheduling operative cases, securing inventory, observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants, and completing logistical requirements. The role requires learning high-level technical information related to surgery and procedures.

What will you need to be successful?

Success depends on becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured training and assessments, building rapport with Sales Reps and leadership, and establishing positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and colleagues. Developing an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quotas is essential. The role requires team-oriented professionals who are attentive to detail and flexible with working hours.

Self-motivated salespeople committed to driving business and delivering the best solutions for patients, results-driven champions passionate about increasing sales revenue and impacting patient outcomes, resourceful consultants proficient in joint reconstruction, and collaborative teammates partnering with counterparts in the region.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferably at least two years of professional sales experience
  • A valid driver’s license for travel within the territory

Travel Requirements: Within the designated sales territory with 2-4 overnight stays per month. Occasionally national travel for events and conferences.

All healthcare facility access roles require successful credentialing, often including COVID-19 vaccination management.
