As part of the Reconstruction Sales Team, the Associate Sales Representative (ASR) will work within an assigned territory and hospital accounts. Responsibilities include assisting in scheduling operative cases, securing inventory, observing surgeries, consulting with surgical teams on Smith Nephew instrumentation and implants, and managing logistical requirements. The role requires learning technical information related to surgery and procedures.
Success depends on becoming a technical expert in our Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured training and assessments, building rapport with sales reps and leadership, and developing positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and colleagues. You will also develop a territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.
The role requires team-oriented professionals who are detail-attentive and flexible to work untraditional hours to support sales and customers.
We seek self-motivated salespeople committed to driving business forward, results-driven champions passionate about increasing sales and impacting patient outcomes, resourceful consultants proficient in joint reconstruction, and collaborative teammates partnering across regions.
Travel requirements: Within the territory with 2-4 overnight stays per month; occasional national travel for events and conferences.
All healthcare field sales roles requiring facility access must complete our credentialing process, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
