Job summary

Mike Maroone Cadillac GMC is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to prep pre-owned vehicles for retail. You’ll inspect, repair, and quality-check vehicles to ensure safety and presentation before display, using shop software and coordinating with Parts, Service, and Sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service or reconditioning technician experience.
• Own tools required.
• ASE certifications are a plus (not a deal-breaker).

Responsibilities

• Inspecting pre-owned vehicles for mechanical and cosmetic needs.
• Performing repairs such as brakes, oil changes, tune-ups, tires, and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Ensuring every vehicle meets safety, quality, and presentation standards before display.
• Documenting work accurately using shop software.
• Coordinating with Parts, Service, and Sales to hit reconditioning timelines.
• Performing final quality checks to minimize comebacks.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, professional workspace.
