Job summary

Totum Partners is seeking an experienced Recognition Manager to join its global Marketing team within a leading international law firm. This highly visible role develops awards and directories strategy, translating complex cases into compelling submissions.

You will lead submissions, interview senior lawyers, manage projects, oversee external consultants, and advise on Chambers and Legal 500 rankings to strengthen the firm’s reputation worldwide.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recognition Manager to join the global Marketing team of a leading international law firm.

This is a highly visible, strategic role with responsibility for proactively strengthening the firm’s reputation through its global awards and legal directories strategy. It would suit someone who combines outstanding writing and editorial skills with strong project management and the confidence to work closely with senior partners and leadership across an international business.

You will :

• Lead the development of sophisticated awards submissions, identifying the strongest matters, lawyers and stories to showcase.
• Interview senior lawyers and translate complex work into persuasive, engaging written submissions.
• Manage awards projects from nomination through to drafting, approvals and submission.
• Oversee external consultants and maintain exceptionally high editorial standards.
• Act as a strategic adviser on Chambers and Legal 500, including submissions, rankings and evolving market best practice.
• Manage key relationships with major legal directories.
• Work with Communications colleagues to maximise the impact of awards and rankings successes.
