Job summary

URBN is seeking a Sales Associate in Gurnee, IL to drive the customer experience on the sales floor, help with cashier transactions, and contribute to a welcoming, well-organized store environment. You will engage customers, share product information, maintain visual standards, process shipments, and support team collaboration while following safety guidelines and store policies.

Flexible availability, including nights and weekends, is preferred to help cover shifts and ensure a positive

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service
• Experience being a team player
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs including nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture

Responsibilities

• Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions
• Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping to maintain a well-kept, clean store
• Processes sales for the customer accurately and efficiently as a cashier
• Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team
• Exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things
• Ensures timeliness and accountability to scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed, positive environment
• Maintains visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
• Supports processing shipment, tagging, staging, and placing new product
• Adheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Role Summary
