Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Key Holder to support store leadership in delivering outstanding customer service and achieving daily store goals at our Willow Grove location.

The role involves leading teams, managing tasks, and ensuring accurate product pricing and promotions. Responsibilities include driving sales, mentoring associates, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment while assisting with in-store pickups and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across levels of staff and management.
• Must be comfortable on a ladder and able to lift and push more than 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Initiates conversations with customers on entry and informs them of current promotions.
• Engages multiple customers, sharing product details and pricing.
• Delivers a seamless shopping experience with product knowledge and pricing strategies.
• Assists in-store pickup and loads items into customers' vehicles.
• Leads the store environment and customer experience by managing the daily zone chart and driving sales.
• Provides timely employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability.
• Offers insights on associate performance to leadership for development.
• Maintains store standards and collaborates with partners to receive and display new products.
• Supports opening/closing procedures and ensures pricing and promotions are executed accurately.
• Upholds safety standards, inventory accuracy, and store profitability.
• Participates in daily meetings and shares product knowledge; supports onboarding and zone development.

Role Summary

A Key Holder contributes to creating a customer-centric environment by supporting the store leadership team in excellent customer service, daily store objectives, consistent product flow and leading the team to achieve overall store goals.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions
• Contributes to a selling environment by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product information and pricing
• Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding of product, pricing strategy, and utilization of technology
• Supports the customer in-store pickup process including loading of furniture into vehicles

Leadership + Team Management

• Leads the store environment and customer experience with managing and adjusting the daily zone chart, driving sales, and maximizing productivity in all store areas
• Acts as an elevated team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customer’s experience
• Provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
• Provides insight on associate performance to the leadership team for development

Visual + Business Operations

• Maintains standards and cleanliness by supporting daily tasks to create the best possible store environment; collaborates with key partners to receive and place new product
• Supports daily opening and closing procedures along with ensuring product pricing and promotions are executed and signed accurately
• Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Communication + Relationships

• Actively participates in daily meetings and takes initiative in teaching and sharing of product knowledge
• Checks in with leadership to maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives
• Assists the Associate team in their growth and problem solving; supports new hire onboarding in their orientation and zone development

Pay Range

Starting from USD $16.00/Hr.
