Job summary

Fitesa Simpsonville, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Erema/Reclaim Machine Operator to run the Erema recycle line, reclaim scrap material from the floor, and help maintain continuous production.

You will help set up, start, stop, and monitor the Erema system and ensure accurate production reporting. Qualifed candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of manufacturing experience, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1 year of machine operator, warehouse, or other manufacturing experience.
• Troubleshooting skills and good mechanical abilities.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with databases and tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Erema to process standards and centerlines.
• Perform Erema set up, start up, and shut down.
• Manage operation of the Erema manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure the side feed is always fully stocked and tied in.
• Manage the flow of material into and out of the Erema area.
• Accurately and fully complete all production reports.
• Track all production and enter database.
• Ensure product is properly labeled.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate problems and issues to appropriate resources promptly.
• Assist in down day activities per team leader instructions.
• Ensure finished pellets meet specifications defined in Operations Documents.
• Operate equipment within the specified limits of the applicable SOPs.
• Assist other team members and in other production areas as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Erema/Reclaim Machine Operator position is responsible for full operation of the Erema recycle machine to reclaim and reuse scrap material from the production floor.

Pay: $19 + $2 night shift differential

Schedule: 7:45pm-8am, 2/2/3 schedule

Key Responsibilities (What/How):

As in operations, the Erema operator is responsible of:

• Set Up Erema to process standards and centerlines.
• Perform Erema set up, start up, and shut down.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Work around varying temperatures
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
